The cellar
  The farm with its adjoining vineyards is placed in the historical zone (identified as Classica) of Valpolicella, in the village of Negrar, locality San Peretto. The 6 hectares of area of vineyards are placed at 250 m from sea- level. Lands are volcanic-basaltic (toar) and calcareous too.
The exposure is to South- East, ideal for a very good ripening of grapes. We grow vines with ''pergola'' system. Our vines are about 25 years old. We produce 120 quintals per hectare. Grapes grown are CORVINA, CORVINONE, RONDINELLA and MOLINARA principally.
The grape gather usually begins at the end of September and it is completely handmade. We select the best bunches immediately, used to the production of Amarone and Recioto. Successively, we pick-up bunches to be pressed in the same day.
The farm is registered to "Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella" and it wine-makes into the same cellar , mellowing the wines in steel tanks or in oak barrels or in tonneaux.
